[Bug]: Expanded span in the timeline messes up hierarchy view column

### What happened? ### Steps to reproduce * run jaeger & hotrod in docker compose
* open one hotrod trace
* expand some span in the middle ### Expected behavior 1. the vertical bars in the hierarchy tree are supposed to run straight through, but they are being interrupted by the colored block of expanded span
2. the extra "T on a side" of hierarchy is inserted but does not match anything
3. the blank white row is inserted in the first column instead of everything having the colored background
